As both an entrepreneur (founder/CTO of HubSpot) and an active angel investor and blogger (OnStartups.com), I’ve always wanted a way to keep track of companies. Not just the usual Google Alerts kind of stuff — but to track ALL THE THINGS (or as many things as I could find APIs for or otherwise access publicly.)
Things like marketing stats, traffic sources, and social media stats.
Things like funding rounds and press mentions.
Things like which technologies they used (particularly SaaS products).
There were tools that did some of these things, but none of them felt quite right. So, SiteAlerts was born.
There product is still very early, but I already use it every day. I hope you’ll find it useful too.
